China-Eurasia Expo is an important platform established to further expand all-around, high-level and multi-field exchanges and co-operation between China, Asian and European countries on the basis of successfully-held China Urumqi Foreign Economic Relations and Trade Fair.

At a new starting point, China-Eurasia Expo can help to build a regional economic development and investment platform more effectively in Xinjiang, boosting long-term economic exchanges and cooperation between Xinjiang and eastern China as well as Central Asia, Western Asia, Southern Asia and European countries. It also helps strengthen cooperation and exchange between Xinjiang and the relevant national departments, other provinces and autonomous regions. Furthermore, China-Eurasia Expo is an effective carrier in promoting the opening-up of border areas in the western region and in building Xinjiang as a major gateway and base of China’s opening program.
