Bauxite

Bauxite is a kind of mineral which is often collectively formed by gibbsite, boehmite or diaspore. The Moh's hardness is 1-3. Bauxite can be widely used in many industries, among which the most important application is to be used to refine aluminum and to work as refractory and abrasive materials, and as raw materials for high alumina cement. Besides it can be seen in such fields as military industry, spaceflight, telecommunication, instrument, machinery and medical machine production.
